Tablature Comment:
Clarence White used one of the first B-Bender equipped Telecasters on this great song from The Byrds' 'Easy Rider' LP (A much better version than the Doobie Bros hit version, IMHO). This song is in Ebm on the record, but I put it in Dm to make it easier to play all the parts in a band. If you want to play along with the record, slap a capo on the first fret. Also, note that the lead / bender guitar has the high E-string tuned down to D. This 'banjo tuning' makes some of the voicings sound much better and actually easier. Some say Clarence used this tuning on a lot of songs, including Nashville West. I've tried to simulate the B-bender effects with regular second string pre-bends and such. Takes a little practice, but works well after a while! The PowerTab player doesn't really do these justice - listen to the record and practice!
